'Re-naming and Logo design works were required'

The client asked us to be available to work on logo design. We realised that there was only a temporary name for the mobile service. That means we need to work on naming at the same time. We accepted the client request about working on the naming and logo design.

Before, we involved the naming and logo design work, we were working on the mobile application interface design even though we did not know the name of service. However, we quite knew what the service is.

Define

At first, we started to work on naming. We were making a list of keywords which express ideally.

The keywords are; Deal, reservation, feast, meeting, event, restaurant, reserved, reservation, dinner, delicious, Et Cetera. We have more than one hundred keywords.

Based on the keywords we found, we make a sentence which can express for the service; 'This is a mobile application for making reservations for feasts based on reverse-deal.'

We selected two of the keywords (Deal and Delicious) to blended them to be one. The brand new name is 'DEALicious'

Design

From the name of service 'DEALicious', we intended to design a logo. In the handed sketch process, we made various type of materials that we consider about putting some symbol or not.

Finally, we decided to take a symbol shape out from a logo which consists of beauty letters.

Deliver

A logo design guide book and an ai file were delivered to the clients on time.
